Senior Dynamics AX Financial Consultant
Job Description
Job Purpose:
The main purpose of the Senior Dynamics Financial Consultant job is to analyze business requirements and translate those requirements into fully realized business processes and solutions that implement industry best practices. Candidates serve as a key resource in implementing, configuring applications to meet business requirements, and supporting ERP’s users.
Principal Accountabilities:
*1. Providing continuous support for AX systems and processes. 2. Working with business Owner and partner to facilitate the implementation and support of Dynamics AX/D365 Finance modules, CRM and Trade and logistics.
3. Collaborate with Stakeholders to understand their business requirements and conduct a gap analysis
4. Preparing pre-design documentation and offering holistic solutions with client requirements and requests
5. Identifying opportunities to improve the functionality of the solution tightening the interfaces and enhancing the acceptance of Dynamics AX/ D365
6. Design, configuration and testing of core Dynamics AX/ D365 Trade and Logistic, Finance, Projects, Productions modules
7. Defining AX/ D365 enhancement requirements for reports and business processes/forms etc., that a developer can use for AX enhancements
8. Testing enhancements for Stakeholders acceptance and accuracy
9. Communicating issues and project tasks with appropriate personnel
10. Providing general usability guidance, and preparation reference material for end-users
11. Provide structured feedback and guidance to the training team for augmentation of the training materials
12. Actively work with all involved to mitigate risks by maintaining a project plan*
Skills
- Minimum of 5 years Dynamics AX/D365 Trade and Logistics experience and Finance Domain
- Minimum of 5 years Dynamics AX/ D365 implementations experience.
- Strong knowledge in Finance and Costing in ERP.
- Strong industry experience within Supply Chain or Materials Management including but not limited to:
o Inventory and Warehouse Management
o Procurement and Sourcing
o Product Information Management
- Working knowledge of industry-specific best practices
- Excellent communication, planning and organization skills
- Strong customer relationship skills
- Ability to establish priorities and work independently
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, commerce, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required
- A proven track record of developing and implementing new business process in ERP system.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative attitude are a must
