Job Description
Objective of the Role:
To take the consultant role within the application delivery team for D365 F&O including 3rd party applications. the right person will provide effective delivery of consultancy, through quality of implementation and delivery and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics D365 F&O products and services
Be a team player working closely with other members of service delivery, i.e. ERP Team and other consultants and developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on implementation and deployment of MS Dynamics 365 F&O solution in 3 main areas – Finance, Logistics and Commercials, D365 solution architect and consulting services to customers.
- Working collaboratively with customer stakeholders to implement and leverage MS Dynamics 365 F&O using best development and implementation methodologies.
- Participate in Dynamics 365FO implementations throughout all project stages including analysis, design, development, test, and support
- Provide onsite and offsite consulting services.
- Advise team on solution usage and help minimize gaps between standard product customer's business processes with creative configuration.
- Business Process Discovery Documents.
- Configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO financial modules, trade and logistic modules
- Prepare functional specification for customization required
- Prepare User Manuals and deliver training to end users
- Prepare test script and conduct user acceptable testing
- Provide pre-go live and post go live end user support
- Proactively identify, analyse, and respond to issues and risks.
- Foster teamwork, mentor, and train consultants on best practices, project methodology, and professional client service.
- Suggest areas of improvement in methodology and internal processes along with potential solutions.
- Recognize and pursue opportunities for cross-selling and additional client projects.
- Participate in pre-sales activities.
- Design project schedules and set timelines for each member of the team and delegate specific tasks to each resource of the project.
- Liaise with product vendors on any issues relevant for our customers or the company’s services.
- End to End management co-ordination of the project and responsible for the successful completion of the project within a stipulated budget.
- Ensure that the technical aspects of projects meet required standards for functionality, operability and documentation
- Ensure timesheets are entered and processed accurately and responsible for invoicing in relation to projects.
- Work with project managers and team leaders to cater for resource changes across projects.
- Assist with any other necessary task as required.
