Job Description
Teach German language to trainees of the Vocational Education Center in oral and
written form, with a special focus on technical terms
Ensure the application of the German language curriculum as defined by the school
management
Apply agreed educational methods in guiding and educating of the trainees
Support the school management in the development of the German‐language
curriculum, based on the hands‐on experience gained during conduction of the
German language education
Implement applicable quality standards, regulations, and systems as defined by the
school management
Support the school management and the social expert in dealing with trainees with
regard to behavioral aspects
Job Requirements
Bachelor of Science (or equivalent work experience) in one of the following
specializations:
o Education, with a major German language
o German Language Studies (Germanistics) or equivalent experience in
language usage (e.g. native speaker)
o Engineering background (e.g. Mechanical Engineering), with experience in
translation of technical terms
Excellent command of German language (minimum B2 or C1, for both general
conversation and technical terms)
Excellent command of Arabic language
Very good command of the English language
At least 2 years experience in one or more of the following job fields:
o Technical translation and/or correspondence
o Education (German language teacher)
Excellent communication skills
Excellent information conveyance skills
Mental and physical ability for dealing with trainees and students
