Job Description
- Specifications writer engineer needed, 8-10 years exp. , deal with construction-related projects, knowledge of architectural, Structure & Electromechanical and engineering concepts.
- Must be versed in Saudi building code regulations. Manage all divisions as per CSI format. Worked in Mega projects specially in commercial & residential projects
- Creates written materials that detail technical descriptions of projects, materials, and procedures. They interpret plans and processes, collaborate with experts, They work closely with editors, making revisions as needed, and maintain open communication with staff for a smooth workflow.
- Their tasks often include analyzing specifications, engineering drawings, and evaluating construction products. They also prepare and review technical documentation, material specifications, and manage the creation of construction specifications.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in engineering science is a must.
- Experience in Architecture, structure, MEP Specifications specialty in Saudi code.
- Knowledge of Spec Link Cloud or willingness to learn
- Familiarity with CSI Master Format
- Strong oral, written, and communication skills
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to self-assess and command a high level of accuracy
- Ability to research, learn, and synthesize information
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while effectively leveraging the support of a collaborative team
- Here’s How You’ll Stand Out:
- Knowledge of client contract to deliverables
- CSI Construction Documents Technologist (CDT) or willingness to obtain
- You have experience writing Architectural, structural and MEP Specifications
- You have experience with SpecLink Cloud
- You have experience with MasterSpec
- You have experience with SpecsIntact
- You have experience with simple computer programming, formulas in Excel, or formal logic
