Job Description
- Planning and managing all repair and installation activities.
- Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Supervising and leading all maintenance processes and operations.
- Tracking expenses and overseeing the budget for maintenance.
- Maintaining all machinery to ensure it’s at working standards.
- Creating and implementing maintenance procedures.
- Conducting regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
- Assigning repair schedules and evaluating repair cost estimates.
- Documenting and preparing daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
- Overseeing equipment stock and placing orders for new supplies when necessary.
- Developing and implementing a (proactive) maintenance strategy.
- Ensure that designated buildings, plant and facilities are fit for purpose and to provide proactive support/solutions when required.
- Responsible for all new projects in the plant.
- Team utilization reports (Work load).
- Handling all outsource contractors.
- Handling all outsource manufacturing.
- Ensure health and safety policies are complied with.
- Daily, Monthly, quarterly, Semiannual, and annual maintenance reports.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- 10 years’ experience in maintenance (FMCG Preferred).
- Previous managerial experience is a must.
- Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
- Strong knowledge facilities machines and equipment.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean techniques
