Job Description
Purpose:
Looking for programmers with a keen eye for design for the position of front end developer. Front end developers are responsible for ensuring the alignment of web design and user experience requirements, optimizing web pages and MobileApps for maximum efficiency, and maintaining brand consistency across all pages, among other duties.
Front end developers are required to work in teams alongside back end developers, graphic designers, and user experience designers to ensure all elements of web creation are consistent. This requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Determining the structure and design of web pages and MobileApp.
- Ensuring user experience determines design choices.
- Developing features to enhance the user experience.
- Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.
- Ensuring web design is optimized for smartphones, laptops or any smart devices.
- Building reusable code for future use.
- Optimizing web pages and MobileApp for maximum speed and scalability.
- Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages.
- Maintaining brand consistency throughout the design.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Degree in computer science or related field.
- 2/4 years of overall experience working in Front end development
- product launch and lifecycle management experience required
- Understanding of key design principles.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular , ADOBE and jQuery.
- Understanding of server-side CSS.
- Experience with graphic design applications such as Adobe Illustrator.
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
- Understanding of SEO principles.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical and multitasking skills.
- Knowledge & Abilities:
- Good understanding of user-centered design and usability principles. Specifically prefer candidates with strong digital interactive design, content creation, and management experience
- Knowledgeable of digital technology, emerging media and the Internet
- A self-starter able to work extremely effectively in a cross-functional environment and adapt at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high quality and easy to use digital products that delight our customers
- Ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders and work with all levels within the organization
- Results-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
