Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Identify and plan the requirement for designated IM categories based on close dialogue with relevant user departments
- Source, select and approve suppliers for designated IM categories in close cooperation with relevant user departments (including supplier audits when relevant)
- Ensure best possible agreements for designated IM categories, according to the purchasing objectives, by following the Tactical Purchasing Process and utilizing relevant contract formats (including frame agreements etc)
- Implement and follow up global or regional agreements as and when relevant for the company
- Place and follow up orders in Matrix based on agreements/contracts when relevant
- Run local bids and benchmark the market for best value.
- Develop a long-term sourcing Plan for the IM categories to enable growth & Savings in each category.
- Ensure that capex projects are implemented on time, in full and with Total cost of ownership approach.
- Develop supplier relationship to identify and develop ongoing total cost reductions.
- Drive and actively support stakeholders in ensuring optimal IM specifications are in place and various new cost reduction projects in corresponding categories to contribute to company's top line growth.
- Execute invoice control according to company guidelines and assure payment are done in timely manner.
- Implement the Category Management Concept for selected IM categories
- Ensure the Suppliers Audit plan is in place and achieved.
- Monitor and evaluate analysis Reports on the company’s spending.
- Report on agreed KPIs to Purchasing Manager
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree
- Arabic and English speakers
- 5 - 7 Years of experience in the same field (leadership skills is a plus)
