Job Description
The Personnel Specialist is responsible for overseeing all human resources functions to support company growth and operational efficiency. This role ensures the company attracts, develops, and retains qualified employees while maintaining compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company goals
- Manage the full recruitment cycle (job postings, interviews, hiring, onboarding)
- Plan workforce needs in coordination with department managers
- Develop and monitor employee performance appraisal systems
- Handle employee relations, complaints, and conflict resolution
- Supervise payroll process, attendance, overtime, and leave management
- Design compensation, bonus, and commission structures (especially for sales teams)
- Ensure compliance with Egyptian labor law and social insurance regulations
- Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR documentation
- Develop training and development programs for technical and administrative staff
- Establish and update HR policies and internal regulations
- Prepare HR reports (turnover, attendance, performance, staffing costs) for management
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in industrial, engineering, or trading companies
Technical HR Skills
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian labor law and HR best practices
- Experience in recruitment for technical and sales positions
- Experience in payroll management and compensation structures
- Ability to develop KPIs and performance evaluation systems
- Experience in creating HR policies and procedures
Soft Skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
Technical Tools
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
- Experience with HR systems or ERP software (Odoo, SAP, Zoho, etc.) is a plus
