Job Description

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
  • Develop, validate, and implement analytical methods and protocols in accordance with regulatory and industry guidelines.
  • Prepare, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment to guarantee accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Document and report analytical findings, deviations, and non-conformances in a clear and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve quality issues, root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and company policies within the laboratory environment.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, providing technical support and documentation as required.
  • Assist in the training and mentoring of junior laboratory staff and new team members.
  • Monitor and manage laboratory inventory, including chemicals, reagents, and consumables.
  • Stay updated on advancements in analytical chemistry, quality assurance methodologies, and relevant regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a quality control or analytical chemistry role within a laboratory setting.
  • Proficiency in analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, and titration methods.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, laboratory best practices, and regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO, GMP, GLP).
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret, and report complex data with high attention to detail.
  • Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and electronic documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot analytical and instrumentation issues.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical reporting and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant laboratory workspace.
