Description
We are looking for an Academy Training Manager to lead the full technical training cycle for our employees. The Academy Training Manager will be responsible in identifying training needs, developing educational curricula and material and increasing trainees’ engagement with learning sessions.
Experience in creating Curriculum and with External Accreditation processes is a must
Responsibilities
Conduct individual and team skills gap analysis. Develop technical training courses for all levels. Partner with the Operations Teams to develop training plans, to drive high performance. Ensure all new hires undergo mandatory trainings. Measure improvements in employees’ job performance at the end of each course Gather feedback from trainees and instructors and recommend suggestions to the learning process. Implementation of all training needs (i.e., induction, technical, soft skills, safety) within PXGEO.
Responsible for sourcing specialist training providers as and when required for specialist training required legally and operationally.
Design and own the annual training plan.
Develop training plans and lesson plans meeting the objective of developing employees.
Deliver training to the workforce using interactive sessions and methods (Classroom and hands on sessions)
Act as technical expert to provide consultation and advice to senior management pertaining to training.
Implement technical training programs to ensure that offshore crew are competent to undertake required activities.
Write, develop, and design policies and procedures related to training.
Analyse training goals and work to create efficient training budget that meets the quality personnel requirement of the business.
Work with different company stakeholders and external parties where employees training and competencies are concerned.
Manage, train and develop department key instructors to support training delivery and competency maintenance.
Requirements
Proven work experience as a Training Manager, or similar role. Oil & Gas Experience a plus but not essential. Deep Knowledge of creating curriculums and external accreditation processes Experience in developing course content both for novices and experts within industry. Knowledge of web-based learning platforms and modern educational techniques Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical terms using simple language.* Additional certification in training (e.g., Certified Technical Trainer, Assessor Certification) is a plus.
