Job Description
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations for patients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapy.
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide counselling and psychotherapy to children and adolescents.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, therapists, and social workers.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in child psychiatry through ongoing professional development.
- Must have experience dealing with peadiatric patients.
Job Requirements
Skills
Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.Valid DHA (Dubai Health Authority) license as a Child Psychiatrist.Board certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.Proven experience as a Child Psychiatrist, with a minimum of 2 years experience.Strong knowledge of psychiatric assessment and treatment techniques for children and adolescents.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Compassion and empathy for patients and their families.Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
