Lead the end to end DevOps activities.
Developing and supporting full-stack platform infrastructure initiatives in a complex environment.
Implementation, monitoring and supporting all the deployment activities, dockers, containers, monitoring tools (appsignal, newrelic, etc).
Generate scripts to improve the efficiency of deployment & monitoring activities as and when required.
Ensuring efficient and scalable artifact deployments to production servers using automation scripts and other deployment tools
Provide technical support of all the applications as required. (after-hours support is expected).
Recommending the enhancements that will produce greater stability, scalability, and throughput for the platform.
To provide input to Development and Operations team members when new architectures, designs, and/or operational models are being formulated.

Experience with Git and Git workflow.
Proficient in developing CICD pipelines, especially with Jenkins and Gitlab.
Experience of SCM tools like Gitlab and Bitbucket including branching strategies and best practices.

Experience with server monitoring systems like Prometheus and Nagios (and derivatives).
Experience with Repository managers like Nexus.
Shell programming experience with Bash, Groovy, etc ...
Solid experience with different OS especially Linux (Ubuntu, Centos, Redhat).
Experience with IaC concepts and tools like Ansible, Terraform.
Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.
Experience with software containerization platforms like Docker and container orchestration tools like OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker Swarm.
Very good understanding of Building Tools (Apache Maven , Gradle).
Knowledge with databases, database performance, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management.
Knowledge of capacity and storage planning.
Experience with Data technologies such as Cassandra/ Elasticsearch/ Fluentd/ Logstash/ Kafka/ Redis. (Extra)
Experience with service discovery/mesh such as Consul and envoy. (Extra)
Knowledge of major cloud service providers, like AWS, Azure, etc. (Extra)
Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery. (Extra)
