Job Description

As an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of AI professionals and overseeing the development and implementation of AI projects. Your role will involve managing the day-to-day operations of the team, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring the successful delivery of AI solutions. You will also contribute to the strategic planning and vision for AI initiatives within the organization.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of AI professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship. Set clear objectives, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure the team's success.
  • Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute AI projects from inception to completion. Define project scope, assign resources, establish timelines, and manage project risks. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and data analytics. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to guide the team's technical decisions.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as software developers, data scientists, and business stakeholders, to gather requirements and align AI initiatives with organizational goals. Foster effective communication and teamwork to achieve project objectives.
  • Strategy and Planning: Contribute to the development of AI strategies and roadmaps. Identify opportunities for AI implementation, assess feasibility, and provide recommendations based on business needs and technological capabilities.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and ethical use of AI systems. Implement quality control processes, perform data validation, and conduct regular audits to maintain high standards of AI solutions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and measure the performance of AI models, algorithms, and systems. Analyze data, generate reports, and identify areas for improvement. Implement optimization strategies to enhance AI performance and efficiency.
  • Training and Development: Identify skill gaps within the team and provide training opportunities to enhance technical competencies. Foster a learning culture and promote continuous professional development among team members.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of AI technologies, algorithms, and frameworks.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Familiarity with machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and data processing tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of ethical considerations and legal regulations related to AI is a plus.
