Job Description
- Selling organization's products and/or services by bidding on projects.
- Assists in defining markets, market potential and appropriate sales strategies for the area.
- Anticipates obstacles and identifies alternative strategies.
- Formulates, communicates, implements, and evaluates strategic and tactical sales plans.
- Provides coaching and development activities necessary to ensure successful execution of plans.
- Interacting with customers on a daily basis, maintaining current customer relationships as well as developing new ones.
- Assists staff in dealing with specific target audiences such as distributors, contractors, industrials, and utilities.
- Coordinates sales activities in various sectors with other areas to penetrate many sectors.
- Negotiate and construct appropriate terms of sales.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, with a strong manufacturing background
- Sheet metal manufacturing experience is preferred
- Sales Engineering and Sales skills
- Technical Support and Communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to understand technical concepts and explain them clearly
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
