Job Description

  • Generate, Qualify and handle leads referred from other departments; Membership (department responsible for adding new members, retaining them and ensure they abide by GS1 policies)
  • Approach new Customer Base in Egypt via annual conferences or exhibitions
  • Managing the Retail partnerships
  • Generating leads in Retail sector
  • Handle Proposal cycle from RFP until successful implementation of proposal scope
  • Responsible for a monthly target to be achieved
  • Follow up on the business development activities in all sectors
  • Use Sales Force Software for data entry and lead follow up
  • Follow up GS1 Egypt sales process documentation
  • Creating new relations with strategic accounts in Retail
  • Increasing GS1 Egypt penetration percentage in Retail sector
  • Ensure proper filing and documentation of the contract process
  • Find, manage, grow and close revenue opportunities; grow installed customer account share
  • Understand customer business and service requirements in order to develop "tailored" solutions and offerings whenever possible
  • Transfer customer requirements to the product management department

Job Requirements

  • High Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience 5 years of sales and business development
  • Experience in vendor management in FMCG or CPG chains / e-commerce is a must
  • Excellent use of MS Office & CRM Software
  • Excellent Communication & Negotiation Skills
  • Excellent in Arabic & English (Writing- Speaking)
