Job Description
- Design and conduct experiments to develop new products, formulations, or processes, using principles of chemistry and chemical engineering.
- Analyze experimental data and interpret results to draw conclusions and make recommendations for further research or development.
- Develop and optimize analytical methods and techniques to characterize and assess the properties of materials and products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to support product development activities.
- Document experimental procedures, results, and observations in laboratory notebooks and technical reports in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in technology transfer activities to facilitate the transition of products and processes from R&D to manufacturing.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and scientific advancements in relevant fields, and apply knowledge to drive innovation and competitiveness.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and facilities in accordance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Support intellectual property efforts by contributing to the development and filing of patents, trade secrets, or other forms of protection for novel technologies or inventions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering.
- 1-2 years of experience in research and development in an industrial setting.
- Knowledge of experimental design, data analysis, and statistical methods, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office.
