About the Role
Etisalat Global Services is seeking a skilled Senior User Acceptance Tester to join our team in Cairo. As a Senior UAT Specialist, you will play a critical role in validating the quality and performance of our telecommunications solutions. Your insights and expertise will ensure that our platforms align with user expectations and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) activities, managing test planning, execution, and reporting for complex telecom projects.
- Design comprehensive UAT scenarios, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and user stories.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to resolve issues and enhance user experiences.
- Execute functional, regression, and exploratory testing to validate system behavior, reporting findings accurately and effectively.
- Identify, document, and track bugs, collaborating with development teams to prioritize resolutions.
- Conduct root cause analysis for issues identified in testing, recommending solutions to enhance product quality.
- Mentor junior testers, providing guidance and support to elevate team performance.
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in User Acceptance Testing, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
- Strong knowledge of UAT methodologies, QA best practices, and testing lifecycle.
- Proficiency with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar platforms.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple testing activities simultaneously.
