3. Negotiation and Contract Management
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms, including pricing, delivery, and payment conditions.
• Oversee and monitor supplier contracts, ensuring adherence to contract terms.
4. Inventory Planning and Control
• Monitor inventory levels in coordination with relevant departments to avoid shortages or overstock.
• Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure the continuous availability of necessary materials.
5. Market Analysis and Cost Monitoring
• Conduct market research and analysis to determine price trends and influencing factors.
• Review and update purchasing costs to ensure the company receives optimal value.
6. Reporting and Budgeting
• Prepare monthly reports on purchasing status, including material costs and inventory levels.
• Set and track purchasing budgets, ensuring spending aligns with budget expectations.
7. Cross-Department Collaboration
• Work closely with production, quality, and warehouse departments to ensure purchasing aligns with production needs and product quality standards.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make decisions based on accurate information.
• Proficiency in procurement and supply chain management software.
