Position Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Google Ads Specialist to manage and optimize PPC campaigns for local business clients. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience running location-based lead generation campaigns, deep understanding of audience intent, and strong technical skills in Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, and analytics setup.

This is a results-focused role that requires analytical thinking, marketing intuition, and attention to detail.

 

Responsibilities

  • Plan, build, and optimize Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, and Performance Max) focused on local lead generation.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and audience segmentation to improve campaign targeting and ROI.
  • Create and test ad copy, landing pages, and extensions to maximize conversion rates.
  • Implement and manage conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and other tracking tools.
  • Monitor campaign performance daily and provide detailed reports with actionable insights.
  • Optimize budgets and bids to achieve KPI targets (CPA, ROAS, CTR, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot tracking issues and ensure accurate attribution across all campaigns.
  • Collaborate with account managers and designers to align creative and messaging with campaign goals.
  • Stay up to date on Google Ads best practices, algorithm updates, and industry trends.

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience managing Google Ads campaigns for local businesses.
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable results in lead generation or service-based industries.
  • Strong proficiency with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics (GA4), and conversion tracking setup.
  • Google Ads certification preferred.
  • Experience with landing page optimization (e.g., Unbounce, Instapage, or WordPress) a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
