Job Description
- Ensure that servers and apps are running optimally, are backed up, and are appropriately configured.
- Continuously monitor and maintain all servers in the operations team environment.
- End-user assistance with complicated technological concerns such as programs, client PCs, and servers.
- Keep the server's security and integrity intact.
- Manage all Windows servers, including hardware/software updates and OS and application patching.
- Create, test, and deploy server solutions in both physical and virtual environments.
- Make and keep documentation of the environment and application setup.
- Assist with the strategy and implementation of an expanding IT department/operations.
- Comply with and assist in the enforcement of standard operating rules and procedures.
- Support the information technology demands of the organization's workers and internal groups.
- Other tasks may be allocated.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is required.
- MSCE Certification is required.
- Cisco CCNA is preferred.
- An ITIL Foundation Certificate is advantageous.
- +3 years of Windows Server experience.
- Experience with Active Directory administration, GPO creation, and GPP.
- 1 to 2 years of DNS and networking experience on Windows systems.
- Strong experience working in Windows settings (at least 15 servers).
- Windows Server administration and troubleshooting expertise are required.
