Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee and manage the company’s financial operations. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in financial management, ensuring compliance with regulations, preparing accurate financial reports, and providing strategic insights to support business decisions. This role requires a strong understanding of financial processes, excellent analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions and reporting.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and timely reporting.
  • Develop financial policies and procedures to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in the preparation of the company’s annual budget and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor cash flow and manage company investments and financial risks.
  • Support the executive team with financial insights for long-term business planning.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
  • Over 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Microsoft Excel).
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present actionable insights.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing financial operations in a multinational or fast-growing company.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and corporate finance.
  • Experience with dealing with banks and managing treasury.
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
