Job Description
- Lead the procurement function and oversees all aspects of purchasing, negotiations, strategy, tool and process implementation for procurement related to goods and services.
- Research and evaluate vendor’s quotes and services to determine most desirable vendor; Builds strong relationships with them.
- Responsible for the order life cycle (starting from place the order till order is fulfilled to stock department).
- Updating Price list and indicate ideal custom code.
- Set the most effective payment method to reduce the cost and inform finance about the due time.
- Responsible for handling form 4 for foreign purchasing above 2000 $with finance department.
- Develop and implement procurement timing strategies and action schedules; monitors their effectiveness.
- Negotiates favorable contractual terms and conditions with Vendors.
- Send shipping orders to the vendors according to the best shipment terms.
- Follow up payment and transferring with finance department to vendors.
- Monitor shipments to ensure that the goods are delivered on time and follow up undelivered goods or problems trace shipments.
- Follow up with brokers for clearance goods.
- Inform the desired department and admin of clearing goods.
- Responsible for revising the entered data at ERP system.
- Responsible for returning defective parts to suppliers in line with company procedures.
- Perform any assigned tasks related to work.
Job Requirements
- University degree preferable in Business management or relevant field.
- 5 -10 years of experience in procurement, setting procurement strategies.
- IT products and services background is a must .
- Possess solid computer skills (proficient in MS office) and experience with ERP systems.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills .
- Fluent in written and oral English.
