Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing vertical videos tailored for social media platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.). Your role will involve transforming raw footage into high-impact, shareable content that captures the essence of our clients' brands, with a focus on trendy and viral themes such as lifestyle, luxury experiences, nightlife, restaurants, and exotic cars.
You should have a strong understanding of social media trends, video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects), and a keen eye for detail. The ability to work quickly while maintaining quality and creativity is essential.
Additionally, as this is a fast-paced, deadline-driven role, candidates must have fast and reliable internet to ensure smooth and efficient workflow, especially when handling large video files and collaborating remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit engaging vertical videos for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.) based on client needs and trends.
Work with lifestyle, luxury, nightlife, restaurant, and exotic car footage to create content that resonates with modern audiences.
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, viral video formats, and audience preferences to create content that maximizes reach and engagement.
Use Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to create high-quality video edits, color correction, sound editing, motion graphics, and visual effects.
Collaborate with the content team and clients to understand project goals, vision, and brand identity.
Deliver video edits in a timely manner, ensuring the content is optimized for the intended platform.
Maintain an organized workflow and adhere to deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing vertical video edits for social media platforms.
Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (motion graphics and visual effects).
Strong understanding of current social media trends, content strategies, and viral video formats.
Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and a creative eye for composition, color, and storytelling.
Familiarity with video specs and optimization for various social platforms (aspect ratios, resolution, etc.).
Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with lifestyle, luxury, nightlife, or automotive content creation.
Familiarity with other editing software or tools (e.g., Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) is a plus.
Experience with creating thumbnails and other social media assets is a plus.
