Job Description

  • Reporting to Marketing Director, works directly with other managers to provide leadership and coordination of company’s Market communication functions.
  • Develop and implement all network, market communication strategies, plans, programs, and functions. Monitor and analyze network, sales and marketing activity against goals to ensure sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s markets, competitors, sales cycles, market influences and consumer behaviors.
  • Manage the company market communication function to identify and develop new customers for products and services.
  • Develop and implement major business KPIs for Market Communications and other related departments with customer satisfaction in mind.
  • Plan and oversee public affairs and public relations efforts including community outreach.
  • Develop marketing strategic plans that clearly define objectives, goals, milestones and assignments to implement and achieve targeted opportunities.
  • Maintain relationships with advertising agencies, public relations firms, market research firms and other services providers as needed.
  • Plan and report brand status and market communications activities plan, including ATL, BTL, TTL and other communication mediums' strategies, product and customer lists.
  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.
  • Develop and manage market communication budget and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets.
  • Build administrative duties related to network, marketing performance metrics.
  • Build with keenness the SHATTA mission, vision and goals and the National Strategy, including key initiatives, quick wins and timelines.
  • Demonstrate a complete commitment to the goals and mission of SHATTA.
  • Represent SHATTA professionally at company and stakeholders' sponsored events.
  • Establish and maintain productive working relationships with SHATTA partners and stakeholders.
  • Perform other related duties, special projects and assignments as required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in an analytical field (math, economics, engineering, statistics, marketing, business administration, etc.).
  • More than 10 years of experience in market, sales, research, operation, commercial, strategy-based marketing role, or other strategy type positions with no less than 5 years in Management positions. Having experience in Fashion, Textiles, Fabrics, Decoration is a plus.
  • A self-starter who is passionate about uncovering opportunities, qualifying business and deadlines
  • Excellent Problem Solving/Analysis skills, must be able to assess sales, research and other information to develop and implement network, marketing and sales strategies that support the company’s goals. 
  • Market communication strategies/tactics with results focus and attention on all aspects of the company’s operations that impact the generation of profitable and sustainable revenue.
  • The company operates within a distinct set of values and mission. The Market Communication Manager needs to display leadership in achieving goals within those values and mission and model those values to employees, customers and business partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to convey a sense of urgency, openness to new ideas, inclusion & diversity, integrity, customer focus, and respect.
  • Communication Proficiency. The Market Communication Manager must be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of employees, customers, industry professionals and business partners in a wide range of settings and facilitate effective interactions with staff, industry professionals and clients.
  • Combine creative and pragmatic use of insight and data with attention to detail.
  • Strong mathematical skills to analyze insights.
  • Proven experience successfully working on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software products, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and ability to quickly learn industry related software.
  • Arabic & English language fluency is a must.
