Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Act as technical contact for customers and distributors, handling RFQs, price lists, technical/commercial queries, and new purchase orders. 
  • Manage technical and commercial inquiries across Egypt and allocated territories, providing expert advice and guidance. 
  • Support Development sales team by Preparing and deliver sales quotations that align with customer requirements, conducting both technical and commercial analyses.
  • Review customer project specifications and prepare final proposals, documenting and addressing any deviations. 

 

Product Selection & Technical Operations: 

  • Select suitable products based on customer needs, using relevant tools and software, including but not limited to: 
  • FDC: Motor calculation, selection, and datasheet creation
  • EASY: Motor configuration with datasheet and drawing generation 
  • Develop and share customized price lists with customers when required. 
  • Coordinate samples for new developments in collaboration with customers. 
  • Process customer purchase orders, ensuring a smooth handover to the Order Management team.

 

Collaboration & External Engagement: 

  • Engage with WEG manufacturing facilities on technical and commercial matters. 
  • Participate in industry events, such as EGYPES WATREX, representing WEG when needed. 
  • Join customer visits alongside front-end sales personnel to support relationship-building efforts. 

 

Continuous Improvement & Business Growth: 

  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize synergies across WEG’s product lines. 
  • Support internal processes by contributing ideas for continuous improvement. 

 

Ongoing Duties: 

  • Provide commercial and technical assistance to colleagues within the sales team.
  • Coordinate with all sales staff to maximize business opportunities and achieve objectives.

Job Requirements

Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Technical Expertise: Experience in selecting and selling electric motors and Variable Speed Drives.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electro-Mechanical Engineering. 
  • Fluent Arabic and English speaking is a must – any further Language will be a plus advantage  
  • Self-motivated with strong initiative. 
  • Detail-oriented while maintaining a strategic overview
  • Able to take ownership of projects and responsibilities 
  • Effective communicator with good written and verbal skills  
  • Good at working with detail and being able to see the ‘big picture’  
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office ( Word – Excell – Powerpoint) minimum – any more tool is a plus 
  • Experience of working in a busy office environment with an ability to be flexible.  
  • Have a friendly disposition and be able to build excellent work relationships both internally with colleagues and externally with customers    
