Job Description
- We're hiring a Senior Product Owner to join team of a permissive FinTech well funded startup company, that to join their team from their Cairo office.
- The successful candidate will be capable of moving multiple initiatives forward productively in a dynamic and uncertain environment.
- This includes providing day-to-day project management under general supervision. Through, coordinating and aligning efforts across internal and external teams and stakeholders.
In addition to assisting a wide variety of projects throughout their life-cycle from conceptual design through implementation. Ensuring that all projects adhere to the required standards of budget, timeline, and scope.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the product cycle end-to-end from opportunity discovery to release planning including data analytics & user feedback management.
- Collaborate on the strategic product road mapping of the full products portfolio.
- Maintain the product backlog groomed & prioritized based the product strategy.
- Own feature planning & release plans of new features across our functional teams.
- Lead initiatives with various stakeholders to ensure shared understanding, alignment, and hence successful delivery of product features.
- Oversee the development stages from kick-off sessions, sprint planning and UATs, evaluating the product progress at each iteration.
- Conduct frequent competitor analysis to identify areas of differentiation
- Conduct market analysis to identify market and targeted segments needs
- Create product specifications list, SRS (software requirement specifications) and product life cycle
- Partners cross-functionally with tech-product manager, development team and stakeholders to gather product requirements into flexible and executable roadmap.
- Own product project management stages, implementation and testing
- find the best way to do things and entrepreneurial motivation to actually make it happen.
- Owned a product from introduction through launch or owned a mature product with ongoing enhancements
- Experience owning product marketing including positioning, competitive analysis and sales support on go-to-market
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or Engineering, or any relevant area.
- Holds relevant Product and/or Project Management Professional Certification is a big plus.
- 8 - 10 years of experience in product management, with at least 4 years of them in a leadership position leading a team.
- Strong technical awareness of web and mobile modern technologies, tools, frameworks and platforms is highly required.
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
- Proven experience in building large and complex web/mobile apps.
- Experience in launching tech products to the market especially in the FinTech Industry.
- Experience in tracking and analytics tools (both system and business analytics).
- A solid UI/UX experience to deeply contribute in product's design and enhancement decisions.
- Able to understand the business goals and requirements and align product's goals with them.
- Understands all product related aspects including financial and budgeting of the product needs.
- Experienced with project management methodologies and techniques.
- Strong business acumen - strong marketing and sales awareness.
- Excellent resource allocation based on the resources competencies.
- Coming from a tech background with Startup experience is a plus.
- Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal skills.
- Proactively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong presentation and customer-facing social skills (written and verbal).
- Fluent in English, written and spoken is a MUST.
- Very good Estimation, Prioritization, and Organizational skills.
- Excellent problem solving attitude, analytical skills.
- Males of Cairo residence is strongly preferred.
