Job Description
- Design new engineering products and processes
- Craft models and drawings of products using CAD
- Analyze prototype data and retest if needed
- Research new product ideas and methods
- Improve existing products and processes
- Ensure compliance with the industry’s safety standards
- Maintain accurate records
- Ensure products are user- and environment-friendly
- Write detailed reports
- Find creative design solutions to problems
- Present prototypes and designs to customers and project managers
Job Requirements
- Experience with both concrete and steel buildings design and with the following expertise:
- Structural Analysis Software (SAP2000+ETABS+SAFE2016) is a must.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, BIM workflow, Revit & Tekla is a must.
- Knowledge of Egyptian Code.
- Knowledge of ACI Code.
- Gulf Projects Experience.
- Knowledge of Highrise Buildings Design.
- Composite sections and Prestressed/Post tension Design is a plus.
- Knowledge of Shop drawings Submittals Review and Respond for RFIs.
