Job Description

  • An Electronic Commerce (E-Commerce) Executive contributes to the growth of the online business of an organization. The individual is responsible for enhancing the customer experience, executing customer order fulfillment, and maintaining the technology and infrastructure. This role also involves analyzing data from market and consumer studies to generate commercial insights, managing relationships with partners and ensuring seamless end-to-end integration of the e-commerce business. Working in a fast-paced, digitally-centric environment, this person should be an energetic, collaborative and results-oriented self-starter who is technologically savvy, organized and able to operate well in a team under pressure.

Roles and Responsibilities• 

  • Our company is looking for an E-Commerce specialist to join our online marketing and sales team. Our ideal applicant is organized enough to manage our online inventory and creative enough to help design social media campaigns to increase our digital sales. it is more important that you have some experience managing a digital store or inventory of products.
  • Write and edit product content that will be published on e-Commerce websites/portals.
  • Set standards, systems, and best practices for new product listings, content creation, distribution, and maintenance.
  • Work closely with different teams (product management, graphics, sales) to provide updated content that will be shared across e-Commerce platforms.
  • Provide support in other areas of Media Marketing, PPC, Email Marketing, SEO, Keyword Research, Google Analytics, Website UX, and Paid Social Media.
  • Be a subject matter expert to assigned product categories.
  • Identify SEO best practices regarding inventory, pre-orders, and pricing policies.
  • Monitor changes in product sales by using web analytics and Excel spreadsheets (pivot tables, vlookups, etc) to stay organized.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Manage our online inventory
  • Develop campaigns to increase digital sales
  • Help manage our online marketing presence on social media platforms
  • Monitor changes in website traffic or increases in sales
  • Assist with forming our company's overall digital marketing strategy

Job Requirements

E-Commerce Specialist Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' Experience managing digital product inventory
  • Minimum 3 years' experience using shopify
  • Experience using web analytics and optimization tools
  • Customer service experience
  • Communication skills
