Job Description
As a UI/UX Designer in our Creative Team, you will play a key role in creating seamless and engaging user experiences across our digital platforms. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will blend user-centric design principles with innovative solutions to enhance the overall usability and visual appeal of our products. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of user experience design, a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects, and proficiency in design tools and methodologies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
User-Centric Design:
* Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
* Develop user personas and user journey maps to inform design decisions.
* Apply user-centered design principles to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
Wireframing and Prototyping:
* Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to illustrate design concepts and interactions.
* Test and iterate on prototypes based on user feedback and usability testing.
Visual Design:
* Design high-fidelity visual interfaces that align with brand guidelines and enhance user engagement.
* Collaborate with Graphic Designers to ensure consistency in visual language across platforms.
Collaboration:
* Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to bring designs to life.
* Participate in cross-functional team meetings, providing valuable input on design-related aspects.
Usability Testing:
* Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather insights and validate design decisions.
* Analyze user feedback and iterate on designs to improve overall usability.
Accessibility:
* Ensure designs comply with accessibility standards and guidelines.
* Advocate for inclusive design practices and contribute to making products accessible to all users.
Job Requirements
* Experience with motion design and prototyping tools.
* Knowledge of current design trends and emerging technologies.
* Familiarity with design systems and their implementation.
* Bachelor's degree in graphic design, HCI, Interaction Design, or a related field preferred graduate from Applied Arts.
* Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful projects.
* Proficient in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
* Knowledge of user research methodologies and usability testing.
* Familiarity with front-end development and its impact on design decisions.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
