Duties and duties:
1- The treasurer works under the direct supervision and direction of the head or account officer, and accordingly reports on the movement of the fund are submitted from the daily revenues and expenses.
2- Receiving cash and checks to be deposited daily in the institution's accounts with banks, according to the accounting system.
3- Preparing the movement of daily receipts and payments in a statement approved by the head or account officer, accompanied by all documents supporting revenues and expenditures, and notices of supplying revenues to banks, as they are reviewed before being recorded in records and books.
4- Receiving the permanent advance and disbursing it according to the instructions.
5- Keeping documents related to collections and expenditures in special files in a regular and proper manner. 6- Handing over salaries to the organization's employees.
7- Carrying out other tasks assigned to him in the field of specialization.
Job Requirements
- Work experience as an Accountant
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
