Job Description
- Handling all different multiple projects for the company regarding all the engineering planning activities.
- Review, develop the baseline schedule/recovery/tender schedule and assign the project resources in details as well as the costs & cash flow.
- Integrate the different discipline of the project in the schedule to meet each discipline’s requirements and constraints.
- Prepare and issue narrative schedule to assist tender department in preparing the method of statement for the project in tender stage.
- Review summary report and any prepared data issued by the Planning Engineer necessary to develop the project’s schedule.
- Participate in developing logistics plan for the project during the construction phases in coordination with the Operations Department.
- Review the resources requirements among individual projects to be sent to the Operations department.
- Review and ensure the projects’ schedule updates are reflecting the actual progress on site.
- Review and ensure that the base line schedules are communicated to the client and consultants and are achieving the time frame within the available resources.
- Review the sub-contractors progress with the planning engineers.
- Issue a combined report to reflect the projects’ status and send it to the Planning Team Leader.
- Monitor and control procurement and engineering progress schedule to ensure that the forecast engineering and procurement status are supporting the construction progress on site.
- Prepare close out report in coordination with the project team to be a reference for the company for the coming projects.
- Coordinate and participate with the site planning engineer the generation of revised/recovery plans – if needed.
- Supervise, train, and share knowledge with planning Engineers to issue the master schedule according to contract requirements with compliance with company procedure.
- Participate in issuing the yearly projects’ plan in coordination with the operation department and PMO director.
Job Requirements
- Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience in the same role.
- Must have experience in Construction companies
- Must have experience in Claims
- Must be certified PRMG
- Solid experience using Primavera.
