Job Description
- Prepares and reviews structural engineering studies, design drawings and documents, and material and equipment specifications.
- Resolves specialty related structural engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes, and standards.
- Analyzes problems, organizes investigations and determines specific design criteria.
- Recommends increase in resources and special equipment.
- Advises and instructs team members in the use of new or specialized procedures.
- Determines and schedules work priorities.
- Revises design specifications and suggests new alternatives.
- Provides technical guidance to co-workers.
- Organize and supervise work within a small work unit composed of employees within own discipline or a related area of specialization.
- Determines the training and development needs of employees. Requirements:
- Approves timesheets.
Job Requirements
- BS in Engineering and registered as a professional engineer with 3-5 years of significant experience.
- Has experience in real-estate development projects
- Must have thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles,
- calculation methods, design details, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications.
- BS in Engineering and registered as a professional engineer with 3-5 years of significant experience.
- Has experience in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries and is recognized as specialist in structural engineering on large to mega projects.
- Must have thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications.
To succeed in this role, you should have hands-on experience using several Design Software such as:
• ETABS
• SAFE
• SAP
• STAAD
• And others
Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD. Project management and analytical skills are also very important.
