Job Description
- Managing the Engineering Team to efficiently maintain all hotel operations such as repairs & maintenance operations, preventive maintenance schedules, annual maintenance contracts, energy
conservations, Health & Safety programs within hotel standards, brand service standards, civil defense standards, municipality standards and HACCAP requirements. - Leading the day to day smooth running of engineering department
& coordinating with Housekeeping, Front office, F&B, Procurement, Finance and other departments. - Preparing the engineering department manning costs & controls, analyzing & monitoring of operations/expenditures, Capital projects, FF&E items, budgeting and projects management.
- Developing systems and procedures to ensure the health and safety of guests, Team Members, machinery and property.
- Developing, implementing and managing energy conservation programs for the property to minimize expenses & to have sustainable green environment.
- Coordinate renovation bidding, define the cost and scope of the project, and oversee the general contractor and subcontractors to ensure quality work is performed cost-effectively.
- Developing, implementing, and directing all emergency programs.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators for the Engineering department taking the corrective actions required to improve asset inventory, quality audit, and productivity.
- Creating Standard Operational Procedures.
- Develops and implements strategies that will deliver products and services, and maximizing financial performance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical.
- Not less than 15 years experience in hotels.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with maintenance practices, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to motivate, organize, and respond to employees of many different areas of expertise and levels.
- Strong change management skills & experience.
- Excellent business, analytical, managerial, leadership, decision-making, and budget planning skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
