Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and safeguard company assets.
Coordinate and lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Supervise, mentor, and train accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll functions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance and facilitate audits.
Monitor cash flow, banking activities, and reconciliations to maintain healthy financial operations.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the accounting function.

Minimum of 6 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting within a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations (IFRS/GAAP).
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop accounting teams.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Experience working in the entertainment, hospitality, or wellness industry is a plus.
