Job Description
- Installing and configuring software, hardware and networks
- Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues
- Ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure
- Managing network servers and technology tools
- Ensuring security through access controls, backups and firewalls
- Upgrading systems with new releases and models
- Developing expertise to train staff on new technologies
- Designing and developing technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
- Collaborate with others to resolve information technology issues.
- Train others in computer interface or software use
- Conduct research to gain information about products or processes
- Maintain the inventory of equipment
- Manage IT Assets
- Manage creation of new users, e-mails, groups, active directory and domain controller
- Managing network servers and technology tools to be “Managing network servers, switches, access points and technology tools”
- Monitor server performance and ensure continuous availability of internet and servers
- Manage continuous improvement projects related to IT
Job Requirements
- BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) or CCNA are plus.
- RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator) is a Plus.
- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
- Knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
- Familiarity with operating systems and platforms such as MS and Linux are preferable.
