Job Description
- Supervise and coordinate all mechanical site activities to ensure project milestones and quality standards are met.
- Interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and project documents to guide on-site installation and construction.
- Monitor and inspect mechanical works, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues.
- Prepare and maintain detailed site reports, progress updates, and documentation for project stakeholders.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems such as HVAC, piping, and fire protection.
- Identify and address potential risks or delays, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure all materials and equipment delivered to the site meet project requirements and quality standards.
- Facilitate regular site meetings and communicate effectively with team members and external partners.
- Support the continuous improvement of site processes and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2–3 years of proven site experience in HVAC & Fire Fighting projects (industrial, commercial, or residential).
- Good knowledge of HVAC & Fire Fighting systems, drawings, installation procedures, and commissioning practices.
- Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, etc.) is an advantage.
- Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documents.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems' installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Familiarity with safety standards and site regulations in engineering projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit/BIM).
- Willingness to work on-site and adapt to changing project requirements.
