Job Description
- Promote health and safety within the organization and develop safer and healthier ways of working.
- Supervise all projects activities and handing over process.
- Application of programs to remove the hazards from the work place and to correct unsafe work practices.
- Inspect and test Occupational health and Safety (OHS) tools, equipment, and documentations to make sure they meet safety regulations
- Make sure that personal protective equipment is being used in workplaces according to regulations
- Identify and test work areas for potential accident and health hazards and implement appropriate control measures
- Help supervise the investigation of accidents and unsafe working conditions, study possible causes and recommend remedial action
- Design reporting templates for audit/inspections or any HSE Reports.
- Coordinate emergency procedures
- Communicate frequently with management to report on the status of any OHS violations, issues, near misses, ill-health and accidents
- Recommends or demands necessary action or procedural changes to correct areas not in compliance with regulations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in HSE field, preferred in facility field.
- OSHA standards for general industry, 30 hr. training course.
- OSHA standards for Construction industry, 30 hr. training course.
- Firefighting training course from department of Civil Protection
- First Aids, Risk Assessment, scaffold competent person, Electrical safety, confined space.
- Computer Skills.
