Senior Business Analyst

Fekra is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to deliver business requirements through the production of user stories for our development teams, working for a top-level client. The role requires an individual who has great attention to detail and can effectively priorities and manage their own workload. The individual must be confident and able to take initiative in a delivery-focused environment and be independent, self-directing and able to collaborate with the teams.

The role will require you to:

• Understand the customer/user base and their product requirements.
• Understand legislation-driven product requirements.
• Define user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Own user stories through the whole product life cycle.
• Participate in backlog refinement sessions to guide the teams towards solutions that meet
• customer/legislative requirements.
• Maintain product level backlogs
• Work within the SCRUM teams in a cross functional environment
• Act as a consultant for business analysts on other projects
• Lead a large project which may require contribution from multiple business analysts
• Mentor and assign tasks to other business analysts
• Management of more than one project at once, as well as complex projects
• Ensure business need and core requirements are fully understood for each project
• Define the minimum viable product and scope for a given release, as well as make suggestions as to where projects can be split and pushing for extensible, reusable solutions where possible Confidently able to give demos and presentations to a variety of audiences people.
• The company has a flat structure and there is direct contact with the client on daily standups and on slack, no middle-layer management in the way of communication.
