Job Description
- Manage all accounting operations including TAX, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Monitoring & Leading Teams.
- Preparing & analyzing financial reports.
- Overseeing and preparing income statements.
- Streamlining accounting functions and operations.
- Preparing month-end/year-end reports for management
- Forecasting future financial performance
- Preparing and analyzing budgets
- Ensuring compliance with government regulations
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance
- Additional controller duties as necessary
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as financial controller or relevant role.
- In depth knowledge of financial law and risk management practices.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
- Ability to strategize and solve problems.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
- BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MSc/MBA/CMA/CPA/IFRS is a plus,
