Job Description
- Understanding of general human recourses policies and procedures
- Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. PeopleSoft) will be a plus

- Assist in monitoring/tracking employee relations issues including resolution and follow-up
- Assist and support management and the leadership team with handling and resolving Human Resources issues
- Monitor all hiring and recruitment processes for compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and company policies and standards• Inform Human Resources management of issues related to employee relations
- Respond to questions, requests, and concerns from employees and management regarding company and Human Resources programs, policies and guidelines
- Disseminate information to employees related to employer-employee relations, employee activities, and personnel policies and programs• Review and ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files (eg, interview documents, I-9s)
- Assist in logistics, administration, and scheduling of annual employee surveys
- Answer phone calls and record messages
- Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees.
- Design and update job descriptions
- Source potential candidates from various online channels (e.g. social media and professional platforms like Naukri.com/ Linkedin)
- Craft recruiting emails to attract passive candidates
- Screen incoming resumes and application forms
- Interview candidates (via phone, video and in-person)
- Prepare and distribute assignments and numerical, language and logical reasoning tests
- Advertise job openings on company’s careers page, social media, job boards and internally
- Provide shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers
- Send job offer emails and answer queries about compensation and benefits
- Monitor key HR metrics, including time-to-fill, time-to-hire and source of hire
- Participate in job fairs and host in-house recruitment events
- Collaborate with managers to identify future hiring needs
- Act as a consultant to new hires and help them onboard
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or equivalent.
- BSc/BA in Business administration or relevant field
- Additional HR training will be a plus
- Experience in human resources or related fields. at least 5 years
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
- Experience in educating and coaching staff.
- Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
- Experience in following and maintaining workplace privacy.
- Ability to give presentations.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety laws.
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
