Job Description

This position is responsible for penetrating new markets and finding potential customers in order to achieve the sales objectives for the assigned regions through selling Marble and Granite to new and existing customers. 

Sales & Account Management:

  • Search for and identify new sales leads in the assigned regions through different social media channels and trading websites. 
  • Identify prospects and evaluate their position in the market and approach them through phone calls, emails and setting meetings.
  • Prepare and deliver customized presentations on products based on customer needs. 
  • Follow up with potential customers till closing the deal. 
  • Negotiate prices and delivery dates with client and close deals.
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline that guarantees targets achievements. 
  • Prepare quotations based upon company pricing structure.
  • Follow up payments of customers after the invoice has been raised. 
  • Regularly follow up with potential customers on new requests/projects. 
  • Keep up to date with current market conditions and competitors' product
  • Receive leads from the marketing team, communicate with them, and convert the leads to sales.
  • Receive requests from clients and follow-up on their orders with production team.
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or events.

Customer Satisfaction;

  • Build and strengthen business relationship with customers within existing accounts and ensure that their needs are being met.
  • Ensure that clients receive requested products in a timely manner, damage free and as per their initial requisition. 
  • Efficiently respond to all customer inquires in a polite and timely manner
  • Gather feedback from customers and share with internal teams 
  • Ensure that existing and new clients are retained and maintained.
  • Handle complaints and objections in a professional manner.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Provide status reports to HOD including forecast/pipeline information.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports, as required
  • Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities to analyze sales opportunities.

Job Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in export sales.
  • Experience in Marble & Granite is a PLUS.
  • English fluency is a MUST.
