Job Description
Alsoug|Cashi is searching for an experienced enthusiastic, energetic, proactive, and decisive DevOps engineer. This position will report directly to the CTO. You will work with our software engineering team and other stakeholders.
Job Responsabilites:-
- Release software upgrades frequently. Automate as much as possible to increase the development velocity.
- Maintain high reliability and quality. Set up monitoring to detect issues and troubleshoot them. Identify the root cause of incidents and systematically improve our system.
- Keep a good security posture. Timely address vulnerabilities. Prevent breaches and keep the company compliant.
- Work with the rest of the teams to ensure the overall success of the company.
Job Requirements
Education and Experience:
· Degree in computer science, software engineering, or an adjacent field.
· A minimum of 3 years experience as DevOps engineer.
· Startup experience is a plus.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Solid cloud computing skills, such as database management and network management – strong AWS know-how is essential for this position
· Strong automation skills and ability to automate a full CI/CD DevOps pipeline. Be able to use tools like Terraform and Jenkins.
· Set up monitoring tools such as setup alerts to proactive alerts. For example, using AWS CloudWatch.
· Be able to set up tooling to perform troubleshooting and find the root causes of the issues. For example, using Sumo Logic.
· Ability to write scripts and automate procedures.
· Fully comfortable with version management. We use Git and BitBucket.
· Good security fundamentals. Capable of managing security credentials.
· Good knowledge of Linux and Docker.
