Job Description
Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a top-tier developer in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Our client is looking to hire a Senior Hospitality Manager responsible for overseeing and guiding the successful execution of large-scale hospitality projects within a development program. Acting as the primary interface for day-to-day project activities and ensuring alignment with our client's project objectives, striving for timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to quality standards in hospitality projects.
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead team resources, including PMCs, to achieve project delivery goals.
- Develop and execute detailed delivery strategies to meet project objectives.
- Plan pre-contract activities, ensuring alignment with success criteria.
- Support design managers in preparing project design scopes and RFPs.
- Manage design consultants' procurement process and oversee tender evaluations.
- Facilitate innovative approaches, such as value engineering, for project optimization.
- Monitor design progress, timelines, and safety compliance.
- Coordinate with various disciplines for seamless integration and efficient design.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, coordinate with procurement, and conduct kick-off meetings.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting program goals.
- Monitor compliance with quality, health, safety, sustainability, and environmental procedures.
- Review risk mitigation measures and conduct regular project meetings.
- Apply performance management techniques and produce timely project progress reports.
- Manage contracts, payments to contractors and consultants, and coordinate with project control.
- Ensure statutory approvals and integrate HSE policies in each project.
- Escalate and manage potential change requests and interface between construction and asset management.
- Provide close-out documentation, training, and maintenance manuals.
- Actively manage the defects liability period and compile lessons learned for continuous improvement.
Requirements- 12+years of successful management experience in complex hospitality projects.
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, civil engineering, construction or project management, or a related field.
- Be a member of a recognized professional body, such as RIBA, AIA, CIOB, RICS.
- Demonstrate a track record of collaborative work with stakeholders and the ability to forge effective relationships.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Showcase strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with creative and strategic thinking
Preferred Skills:
- Implement strategic plans aligning with the organization's vision and goals.
- Demonstrate leadership in guiding professionals toward project success.
- Possess hospitality industry knowledge in hotel and resort project management.
