Job Description

Creating and amending outstanding visual designs for all our media, publications, and marketing collaterals and Updating our visual rules within the brand guidelines accordingly.

The secret about being an art director within INSITE OOH is that you get to design for different channels, from traditional ads (press & publishing); to global online magazines with modern trends; to digital (websites and social); to the unexpected, if you’re looking to create creative ideas capturing the admiration of audiences and encouraging them to interact, you’ve found the right place.

There’s a strategic roadmap for brand visual communication, most time you keep visual communications inline, and sometimes you’ll get to invent from the ground up. We’ll show you the goal and you’ll get us there (how… will be up to you). Working with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure solutions meet or exceed our strategic objectives. Working on multiple projects/tasks/media of varying complexities, meeting your deadlines, and supporting your team members to meet theirs. Following the correct design processes and creating high-quality deliverables for almost all the communication channels.

Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to:

  • Creating creative concepts in order to increase the brand’s leverage across all media channels
  • Creating sustainable visual content strategies
  • Work in conjunction with the interdisciplinary team to develop innovative and cutting-edge creative experiences and nontraditional campaigns
  • Assist in the planning and execution of production of all communication work
  • managing the artwork of the monthly magazine and its online version with the promotional updates posts
  • Design daily content that delivers on a platform level idea
  • Design the daily social media visuals for posts, representing the brand
  • Designing the marketing materials and leads of the brand
  • Contribute compelling on-brand copy for:
    • Online and social content (including infographics and other publications)
    • The website (platform) and mobile apps (in the future)
    • All media channels (offline/online) verbal content
    • The upcoming (future) publications and techniques
  • Work with account, strategy, and production to deliver content in-line with editorial annual calendars
  • (marketing, publishing, and social)
  • Design all the publishing materials including the online posts or updates
  • Design for our own sites and social feeds (daily social media)
  • Keep abreast of the brand and category objectives, trends, competitive advertising

Job Requirements

  • Three years experience at an advertising agency, publishing house, or relevant professional experience, a plus is not a must
  • Good skills in writing and speaking Arabic and English
  • High soft skills and a very positive spirit and a friendly attitude
  • A distinctive portfolio of strong interactive work. Bonus points for a strong mix of offline, digital, and social media work
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and designing cutting-edge ad campaigns and websites with an emphasis on innovation
  • Pop culture and trend watcher who knows what is going on and why people care
  • Strong conceptual/strategic thinking and good knowledge of planning and scheduling tasks, moreover to analyze, generating insights and reporting
  • Not just an Art Director, but you know how words and artwork together and want to touch a lot of different styles
  • Recognized or strong presentation skills, with a hi-understanding of marketing communication and content marketing
  • Massive computer skills with hi-command of ADOBE® software and familiarity with software in general and technological digital devices
  • A fair portfolio of work for various ranges of clients. Experience within the same industry is preferred
  • Recognized artistic talent with a creative approach
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Visual Communications or related field, or equivalent
  • A track record of communications in both languages: Arabic & English
  • A track record of creating ground-breaking work in digital, social, online, and experiential media
  • A desire to set new trends and work in new media channels
  • A good background in photography and videography, and the ability to enhance and edit
  • Thirsty for knowledge, you want to learn and adapt as our brand regularly updates its branding image and messaging
  • A ball of fire who gets a project and goes hard after it, staying on schedule without having their handheld every step of the way
  • Passionate about creating experiences through integrated marketing, bringing tangible value to the audience
  • Dedication, commitment and straightforwardness, can get things done perfectly
