Job Description
- Manage the groups that support the mainframe hardware and the mainframe open systems (Linux) environment to make sure of the services availability on mainframes;
- Independently plan install, integrate and validate systems software and hardware solutions to achieve best solution and architect to serve business needs;
- Manage technical changes implementation across OS, VM, Linux environments as they pertain to hardware, storage and open systems to be aligned with business needs changes;
- Work closely with partners and internal teams to ensure that our infrastructure meets service level (SLA) and performance requirements.
- Develop, communicate and monitor standardized processes to promote the long-term health of sustainability and the health of operational development tasks.
- Perform system backups and recovery to secure all systems on mainframe from data losing
- Train 1st and 2nd Line Of support on new system and Technology, to ensure that knowledge shared and help them quickly solve end user Issues
- Participate in the evaluation, development, implementation, integration and administration of internal and external business solutions that meet customer needs to make sure the technology used from business is aligned with latest technology in the market
- Coordinate and recommend any cost savings to the environment to reduce cost on the organization budget
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer engineering, computer science or related field
- At least 1-3 years of systems engineering experience.
- Excellent communication, organizational and time-management
- Preferred certified in this Fields (IBM Power Server, Linux, AIX, Hyper convergence)
- Very Good knowledge in OpenSUSE
- Good Knowledge in SAP
- Good Knowledge in TSM Backup
