Job Description
- Establish a strategic technology plan, incorporating critical input to support business growth objectives according to senior management vision.
- Plans and controls departmental staffing, development, organization, hardware acquisitions, and facilities to ensure that they are consistent with the business plan of the company.
- Directs the design, development, and maintenance of systems, programs, and software to meet company's information needs.
- Develop innovative technical solutions that resolve the root causes of programming issues, drive network improvements, and increase IT contributions to corporate growth.
- Oversee the technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) in the organization to ensure optimal performance
- Design and customize technological systems and platforms to improve customer experience
- Establishes security measures to ensure effective and consistent information processing operations and to safeguard information resources.
- Selects, develops, and motivates qualified staff to effectively carry out department functions and support the continuity of managerial and specialized skills.
- Develops programs and hardware systems along with staff to ensure cost-effective and smooth information systems operation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field
- 7+ years of experience with a minimum of 5 proven years of experience as IS/IT Manager or similar managerial role
- Background in SAP implementation & Administration is plus
- Background in data analysis and business intelligence is preferable
- Solid experience in designing/developing IT systems and planning IT implementation
- Superb managerial, leadership and communication skills; leading by example to instill enthusiasm and project ownership in team members.
- Ability to technically cover the following scopes: Hardware, networks design, security and firewalls, software development and implementation, business acumen, and database knowledge and security.
