Job Description
- Represent the company in all litigation matters, including court appearances, arbitration, and mediation.
- Draft, review, and file legal documents, pleadings, motions, and briefs related to ongoing and potential litigation.
- Advise management and business units on litigation risks, strategies, and potential outcomes.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and inform litigation strategy.
- Coordinate with external counsel and manage relationships with law firms as needed.
- Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolutions to protect the company’s interests.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Prepare and deliver reports on litigation status, risks, and recommendations to senior management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather evidence, documentation, and witness statements.
- Stay updated on changes in litigation laws and best practices relevant to the financial services and microfinance sectors.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law
- Minimum of 3 years and maximum of 5 years of experience in litigation, preferably within the financial services or microfinance sector.
- Admitted to practice law in Egypt with a valid license.
- Proven track record of managing complex litigation cases independently.
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian civil, commercial, and financial regulations.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to work full-time in an on-site office environment.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- High ethical standards and professional integrity.
