Job Description
- Cascade the strategic objectives to the department sections and ensure the objectives are monitored, executed, and achieved.
- Approve the department’s policies and procedures, ensure their conformity with the company's policies and laws, and ensure they are constantly being exercised.
- Identify budget needs of subordinates and functions, and develop the annual budget required to carry out all departmental activities and facilitate annual non-technical purchases, Communicate with Finance to secure said budget.
- Cooperate with non-technical maintenance teams to devise the yearly maintenance plan, ensuring efficient and timely implementation of the approved maintenance programs for both facilities and vehicles.
- Oversee the procurement of supplies and miscellaneous purchases to ensure conformity to budget and selection of good-quality suppliers at minimal costs.
- Handle the contracting and allocation of security personnel within facilities and offices. Direct the enforcement of access control and supervision of inaccessible areas to maintain integrity and security of assets.
- Ensure that facilities and office spaces meet HS&E, security, and governmental standards and regulations.
- Cooperate with relevant departments to accommodate for change requests in facility layout or services and direct the execution of refurbishments & amendments upon receiving executive approval. Communicate changes to all relevant stakeholders & employees to ensure awareness and guarantee compliance where relevant.
- Conduct performance appraisal sessions with immediate subordinates and ensure that the performance evaluation process is carried out on time and in an efficient and objective matter.
- Set the development plans and training needs for the immediate subordinates and follow up on the execution of the allocated training/program and evaluate its success.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Facilities Management or Admin Affairs, with at least 3- 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Proven experience in managing facilities in a multi-site environment, preferably within the medical devices industry.
- Strong background in budget management, vendor management, and team leadership
