Job Description
GME is looking for new talent to join its team of ambitious content creators.
We are hiring an in-house video editor, to aid with our mission to provide viewers and clients with top-quality online content.
The ideal candidate must be:
- Proficient in using editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc) for video editing, color grading, and sound mixing.
- Well-versed in pop culture, media, and different aesthetic styles.
- Be a motivated self-starter.
-Must be punctual and able to meet deadlines.
- Have creative initiative and the ability to add to the brainstorming process.
- Able to work well in a team setting
- Have an eye for the perfect shot and a love for detail and specificity.
- Willing to aid in creating sets, with an eye for art direction.
- Experienced in the field.
Videography experience is a big plus to set you apart from other candidates.
Office Location: Agouza, Giza
This is a full-time position, applicants must be willing to commute to the office.
Job Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Video Editor
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut)
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
- Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
- Creative mind and storytelling skills
- BS degree in film studies, cinematography or related field
