Job Description
Brighton Cleaning Services is a UK-based company that provides full-service cleaning, linen logistics and guest-ready support for short-let and Airbnb hosts. We are looking for a detail-driven, self-employed professional to assist with our current workload and other back-office duties that keep daily operations running smoothly. The position is fully remote and long-term for the right person.
Key responsibilities (include but are not limited to)
- Daily scheduling & task creation – update the master calendar, add linen orders, create driver runs and flag check-ins/check-outs.
- Messaging & booking management – action WhatsApp / Jobber / e-mail enquiries, set up new client groups, maintain a running to-do list and escalate complex issues to the owner.
- Data & document upkeep – verify staff hours, update linen-usage and replenishment sheets, check invoice totals and keep thorough job notes.
- Quality control & client reporting – send “after-clean” photos, chase missing images, log issues with supporting media and adjust inspections for high-risk properties.
- Weekly / monthly admin – prepare 7-day driver tasks, confirm bookings, assist with subcontractor invoice checks and other tasks that may be assigned as we grow.
Work schedule - Days: Friday – Tuesday (rest days: Wednesday & Thursday)
- Hours: 09:00 – 17:00 UK time
- Full-time: 40 hrs/week, including UK public-holiday cover when shift falls on a holiday
- What you need to succeed
Job Requirements
- Fluent written and spoken English with confident, professional client tone
- Proven experience in virtual assistance, operations or property/cleaning coordination
- High attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Reliable computer (at least i5/8 GB RAM) and stable, backup internet of 25 Mbps+
- Strong Google Workspace or MS Office skills; familiarity with Jobber, Airbnb or similar platforms is an advantage
- Able to invoice as an independent contractor and handle your own taxes/benefits
Compensation & growth
- Stage Monthly pay (GBP)
- Trial period £400 3–6 months to confirm performance, reliability and cultural fit
- Post-trial: salary review at 12 months
- Payment is sent monthly upon receipt of invoice.
